An often asked question - Why is my car air conditioning system not cold?
There are many reasons why the air conditioning in your car is no longer cold, and in the majority of cases it’s because your system is low on refrigerant, or r134a as it’s called in the trade.
You may see a sticker somewhere inside your engine bay with r134a written on it, so now you know what it means.
So if it’s low on gas that can easily be rectified by one of our technicians.
Sometimes it’s more serious than that, and you may have a leak. You lose refrigerant over the years naturally, so expect after 3 years or so to need an aircon regas, but you may also lose gas (refrigerant) through a leak.
To test for a leak the technician will add a UV dye to the system as part of a full air conditioning service.
With the correct diagnostic equipment, our technician can soon checkout your airconditioning system
